Washington Romance Writers are thrilled to host Bob Mayer for a two-day workshop that will change the way you look at your writing and how you accomplish your goals. Bob is the New York Times bestselling author of factual thrillers. He steeps his stories in military, historical and scientific facts, then weaves those facts through fiction creating an exciting ride for the reader.

On March 23, Bob presents Write It Forward. Designed to teach writers how to become successful authors in the new age of publishing, you’ll clearly define your writing goals and why you want to achieve them. You’ll discover what you fear and how that fear is sabotaging you from turning your dreams into realities. Then, you’ll map out a plan for success.

On March 24, Bob holds his famous novel writing seminar. This all-day workshop on writing the novel begins with the original idea and core conflict, moves on to developing plot and character, continues with working with point of view, and pulls everything together with selling your book and the business of writing.

Please note that the seminars will continue through lunch on both days so attendees are encouraged to bring lunch or purchase take-out at a nearby restaurant.

Cost: Free for WRW members; $35/day or $60 for both days for non-WRW members.

Time: 10 am – 5 pm on both days.
