Learning From the Great Novels - One Hundred Years of Solitude

WRW is seeking proposals for presentations.  We’re looking for speakers in the areas of craft, career, self-publishing, research, marketing, and social media.  Other areas such as a spotlight on a publisher, editor, or agent, or a presentation by a New York Times/USA Today bestselling author are welcome, too.  We’ll also consider areas not listed here, and those proposals will be evaluated on their relevance to romance authors/romance industry. Proposals also will be reviewed based on content and/or prior presentation experience.

You must be a member of Romance Writers of America (RWA) or WRW to conduct craft classes, or a nationally recognized instructor of topics relevant to the romance author.

Presentations may be day-long (at least four hours of material), a brown bag lunch (60-90 minutes), or half-day (two hours of material).  It is preferred that day-long presentations cover a single topic (e.g., paranormal, editing, or marketing) and be conducted by the same individual/team.

The workshops run from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (EST) in Maryland or Virginia locations near Washington, D.C. The morning session runs from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the brown bag session from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., and the afternoon session from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
