Gwen wrote the book on Scrivener, Scrivener For Dummies, and teaches popular online courses about Scrivener for Mac and Windows. The workshop will be broken into two sessions.

Get it done in no time with Scrivener. The favored writing tool for many authors, Scrivener can convert your manuscript to EPUB, MOBI (Kindle), or PDF format with a few clicks. Learn how to format your book, add a cover, include searchable document properties, save your settings for future use, and check your final output before you upload to an online retailer.

  • Formatting the book (chapter auto-numbering, font, etc.)
  • Including front and back matter
  • Understanding the Compile (export) window
  • Inserting separators (dividing the scenes and chapters)
  • Adding a cover
