Longtime members are encouraged to attend to add to the brain trust of knowledge shared during this interactive session. We’ll have the opportunity to introduce ourselves, say a few words about our current writing projects, and announce our writing goals for the coming year.

Afternoon Session – The Business of Marketing Your Brand: An Author’s Guide presented by Denny S. Bryce and Marsha Nuccio writing as Emelle Gamble
This interactive workshop will provide an overview of the 10 steps for building an effective marketing plan for small businesses, and how that approach can benefit romance authors. The workshop leaders will present a detailed outline for two different marketing needs: a first book launch and a strategy for re-launching an existing brand. We will summarize a business plan and marketing plan for each! Participants will have a chance to talk about their hits and misses as well as gain added insights on what they can do to create a plan that not only delivers, but also makes sense with their overall business goals.

Attendees should also come prepared with at least ONE marketing tool they believe every author must have in order to create a “successful” brand identity.
