She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and worked in an ICU before she became the author of 21 short contemporary romance novels and a womens fiction novel published in 2001. Linda Morelli is the author of FIERY SURRENDER, a historical romance, SHADOW OF DOUBT, her award-winning romantic suspense, and LANI'S CHALLENGE, published by Port Town Publishing. Her short stories have been published in Port Town's anthologies, by New Age Dimensions, and by Fictionwise. A member of Romance Writers of America (RWA) and the Washington, DC Chapter of RWA, Washington Romance Writers (WRW), Linda has served the local chapter as Vice President and has chaired various WRW committees. She judged numerous national and regional writing contests, and is a permanent judge in RWA's annual Golden Heart Contest, and participates in discussion panels for various local libraries and organizations regarding every aspect of writing, especially romance novels. Linda's other memberships include, Author's Coalition, World Romance Writers, NUW (Not the Usual Way) Authors Community and several other author/writers' groups. She is a reviewer for My Shelf Reviews and the Historical Editor for Gotta Write Network Online. Linda has been a professional artist (and designs her own book covers), creative writer/editor, and a direct mail fundraiser.
