Washington Romance Writers (WRW) is pleased to present a day-long session on writing, selling, and getting to the heart of what works in category and contemporary romances on Sept. 7 starting at 9:45 a.m. at the Bethesda Chevy Chase Regional Center.
The next big thing may well be an old friend. Contemporary romance has made the big comeback (if it actually needed a comeback)! At this workshop learn how to get it right from start to finish from some of the industry’s new and veteran stars of the genre. Panelists for the category romance discussion include Robin Covington, Avery Flynn, best selling and award winning author Stephanie Dray (who also writes as Stephanie Draven) and New York Times best selling author Laura Kaye. Denny S. Bryce will moderate the panel. In the afternoon, Kimberly Kincaid, best selling and award winning author Stephanie Dray (who also writes as Stephanie Draven) and New York Times best selling author Laura Kaye will participate in a panel discussion of writing single title romance. Denny S. Bryce will moderate the panel.
Another reason to attend the September 7 meeting is the WRW Annual Meeting, which will begin at noon. It will be your opportunity to get caught up on the activities of WRW as you participate in the annual meeting chaired by the chapter’s new president, Candy Lyons, and Julie Halperson, our new vice president.
We hope to see you there.
